Holland packed with events in 2015

WITH 37 partners exhibiting on Holland’s stand at WTM this year, there will be a variety of attractions, experiences, hotels and transport carriers to meet.

New exhibitors on the stand this year include the hotel chain Campanile, the leisure and theme park Duinrell, Dutch Cruise Line and the Heineken Experience.

Holland’s Happy Hour will be sponsored this year by a new partner – Enterprise car rental specialists. From Monday to Wednesday at WTM Dutch designer Jan Gunneweg will be making one of his trademark wooden bikes at the Holland stand.

Sail 2015, an event that happens every five years is scheduled for August 19 to 23 in 2015. Other major celebrations in 2015 in Amsterdam include the 50 years of the National Opera and 120 birthday of the Stedelijk Museum. The Rijksmuseum will be holding a major retrospective of Dutch Master Rembrandt’s late works from February 2015. This is the first time such an exhibition has been held with focus on his later period and will include a mix of oil paintings and works on paper. 2015 will be the 125th anniversary since the death of artist Vincent van Gogh. The Van Gogh Museum will unveil its ambitious exhibition Munch: Van Gogh (September 25, 2015 to January 17, 2016).
