The only five-star hotel in downtown Jeddah, the Red Sea Palace Hotel - Helnan, has lined up a summer bonanza for visitors from GCC countries and Saudi Arabia.
The special offer from June 1 to September 30 is targeted at families with gifts, surprises and fun lined up for children and parents. Priced at just SR270 ($73) for a single room and SR320 for a double room including a buffet breakfast, the offer is available only to GCC and Saudi Arabia residents. The package includes airport transfers, beach transfers, guided city tour and free accommodation for two children under 12 years of age sharing parent's room. And pay for just four nights for a five-night stay at the hotel which is located in the heart of Jeddah. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities for leisure and business travellers. One of the longest established hotels in the city, the Red Sea Palace has seen its occupancy climb steadily over the past three years. General manager Beat Wiesmann who is forecasting occupancy of more than 70 per cent this year attributes the growth to the hotel's good location, addition of new rooms in April last year and promotions launched to attract more visitors.
