THE International Tourism Exhibition 2011 (ITE) will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from September 14 to17. Four weeks before the event 180 out of 220 stalls had been reserved by exhibitors from 47 countries around the world, according to the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. During the four-day event, a conference on tourism investment promotion in Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam and a seminar on approaching key markets will take place. The exhibition will also hold an awards ceremony for the best touring companies throughout the four countries.
