Summer sees extra flights

ABU DHABI Airports Company has presented its summer flight schedule from Abu Dhabi International Airport introducing new destinations, frequency increases and new airlines.

There is a 12.8 per cent increase in the total number of flights offered to and from the UAE capital during this summer season which will see the airport operating more than 900 weekly scheduled flights, connecting the emirate to 80-plus international destinations in more than 45 countries.

The expansion of Etihad Airways is a significant contributor to the growth, with its launch of flights to Seoul and Bangalore, as well as other additional destinations. V Australia has also commenced three flights per week to Sydney and Cathay Pacific will begin four flights weekly to Hong Kong this month.
