Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) has announced it was cancelling flights to London and Mumbai (Bombay) while reducing those to Delhi until November end.
A KAC statement said Sunday and Monday flights to London would be cancelled until November 25. Similarly, Saturday and Sunday flights to Mumbai would be cancelled until November 21, and Tuesday and Wednesday flights cut to the same destination until November 27. The statement also said it was reducing Saturday and Sunday flights to Delhi until November 24. It said the flight schedule for December would remain the same until further notice. KAC reduced flights to some Arab destinations earlier last month while cancelling flights to Islamabad and Lahore due to the international situation. Public relations manager Adel Buresli said KAC was cutting down on a number of flights throughout October due to the rise in operational costs and world events in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks in the US.
