Hotels Celebrations at the Grand Hyatt November 2003 463 Share Ramadan at the Grand Hyatt As it enters its first winter season and its first Ramadan since its inception earlier this year, Grand Hyatt Dubai invites guests to celebrate with the hotel during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Located on the lavish Events Lawn, the Ramadan tent, Laylati Café, offers a true taste of Arabia within the luxury setting of 37 acres of landscaped grounds. Open from 8pm until 3am, live music from Oud and Tabbleh musicians will entertain until early hours of the morning whilst guests savor a variety of shisha flavours, from Bahraini apple to Alexandrian tobacco. A choice of games is also available, including backgammon, domino, chess and playing cards.An extensive a la carte menu is available with traditional specialties including cold and hot mezza, manakish saj, Shawarma, falafel, mixed grill (Iranian and Lebanese) and of course, after dinner favourites.Parties of eight to ten people can also request their own private tent, ten of which surround the larger tented area on the lawns During Ramadan, these restaurants at Grand Hyatt Dubai remain open:At Awtar, one of the hotel’s restaurants offering Lebanese cuisine, an Iftar buffet will be served at Dh95 per person until 8pm. Andiamo! Italian restaurant will open all day from 6am to 11.30pm; Indochine Vietnamese restaurant and Peppercrab Singaporean restaurant will open with normal a-la-carte menu from 7pm until 11.30pm.
