The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bahrain has been experiencing many changes of late with its re-branding from Holiday Inn to Crowne Plaza and not all of it has been structural.
The F&B team has been recruited from within the company and carefully selected to drive business into the existing and new outlets.
The Crowne Plaza has two speciality Restaurants, Waves seafood restaurant and La Mosaique international restaurant besides a choice of more informal settings with Tracks Sports Bar (home of the camel burger) and the legendary Harvesters Pub and Terrace.
“When asking if you have ever tried a Camel Burger, most people look at you and laugh and ask which leg you are trying to pull. At Tracks Sports Bar in Crowne Plaza Hotel they have introduced just that, a real Camel Burger. The meat comes from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is taken from a young to middle aged camel to ensure the meat is tender and brought here to Bahrain,” says a spokesperson.
“The chef at Tracks blends the meat with some herbs and turns it into a delicious burger pate. It is proving popular with people from all over the world. The sales of camel burgers have been phenomenal since its launch, so if you don’t believe it when someone tells you about a camel burger then come and try one for yourself at Tracks Sports Bar, Crowne Plaza Bahrain,” he says.
