Gulf Adventure, a local tour operator, signed agreements with major tour operators in Milan to have 2,500 room nights in Doha to be used between October 2003 and May 2004.
The groups are likely to comprise those interested in diving and swimming. Qatar Airways plans to convert its Milan schedule to a circular service covering Rome as well, said the report. The airline currently flies four times a week to Milan.
