Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has signed a deal to provide ground services at the Kuwait International Airport.
The deal with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation in Kuwait calls for BAS to provide passenger handling, cargo and aircraft engineering services at the airport. The contract was signed by BAS chief executive officer Ray Sayer and Kuwait Civil Aviation president Shaikh Jaber bin Mubarak Al Abdulla Al Ahmed Al Sabah. Present was Kuwait Civil Aviation general manager Yaqoub Al Saqr. Sayer said this contract was won against strong competition from international companies and was a major achievement for Bahrain. "BAS will adhere to the highest international standards in discharging its obligations."
