HAWTHORN Suites by Wyndham in Dubai will attend the World Travel Market 2014, with the aim of increasing awareness on the brand and the hotel’s location, and generating business leads.

A new brand in the Dubai hospitality scene, Hawthorn Suites has set its sights on tapping the UK market along with outbound tour operators from Europe, the subcontinent, East Asia and America. The property will also target emerging segments, including online travel agencies for small and medium size groups.

Wael El Behi, general manager, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, says, “The UK market is significant for us as they have ranked second in our Top 20 nationality mix, and we are looking forward to better figures from this market after WTM. Our attendance in this exhibition is very beneficial as it allows us to meet potential partners across all markets and segments and cement our existing business relationships.”

FAM TRIPS

Located along Jumeirah Beach Residence, the hotel recently hosted familiarisation trips for tour operators from Russia, East Europe and Ukraine.

During the familiarisation trips, which were held on separate dates, the travel agents were shown around the property to showcase its spacious and stylish suites, and first-rate amenities including the gym, spa and swimming pool. The property also serves special snacks and lunch to the guests at Flavours, its all-day dining restaurant.

RAMADA DOWNTOWN DUBAI

Another R Hotels group property, Ramada Downtown Dubai also announced its participation in the annual WTM, to seek new markets and reinforce its existing business relationships. The property will showcase its prime location, highlighting its strategic access to Dubai’s main business district and tourist spots including Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and Dubai Fountain. It will also present its brand new look and feel with the recent refurbishment of the hotel lobby, suites, meeting rooms, and its rebranded all-day dining venue, Kenza Restaurant.
