Wolfgang Maier, general manager of the Hilton Abu Dhabi, took home the ‘General Manager of the Year’ award at the 2014 Hilton Worldwide Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) conference, held in Dubai, UAE. With over 40 years of global experience, Wolfgang is a seasoned professional having led Hilton Worldwide hotel teams in China, Europe, Australia, Philippines, and Saudi Arabia before joining the Abu Dhabi property in 2011.
