RoomsXML.com is an accommodation specialist, exclusively catering to the travel trade industry. Since its launch about seven years ago in the UK, this B2B portal has been getting a great response from the markets that it chooses to tap. roomsXML is currently active in the UK, Australia, USA and India. The product is now entering the Middle Eastern markets.
Prakash Bang, managing director of roomsXML Solutions Limited, says: “We are never in a rush to reach new markets. It’s important in our line of business to make sure that the inventory we offer is relevant to that particular market; that we have a 24x7 support staff in place; that we are able to accept payments in local currencies and that we have optimised the inventory to give our users a competitive edge.”
The roomsXML systems has more than 77,000 unique properties. Bang adds: “The inventory we offer is de-duplicated. No property appears more than once – when we say 77,257, we mean 77,257 – no more, no less. We are so confident about our system that we offer a credit of $5 for every duplicate inventory that is spotted by the user!”
roomsXML.com does not charge any fee. Travel agents can log on to the system and ask for their accounts to be set up. A dedicated phone number for every region has been provided for the convenience of users.
