A breathtaking view of the Victoria Harbour while lapping up five-star luxury is what the Hotel Inter-Continental Hong Kong offers its guests.
Built over the harbour's edge, the hotel is secluded from the non-stop bustle of the city despite being close to Tsim Sha Tsui, the popular shopping and entertainment district. All 92 of the hotel's suites and two-thirds of its guest rooms provide a view of the harbour. "We are now looking at getting more guests from the Middle East," says director of public relations Carol L Klein. "With its proximity to some of the famous sights, its magnificent view of the harbour and the luxury and comfort of the rooms, we are sure it will prove a fine experience for Middle East visitors," she said. The hotel is also thinking of innovations to add to the comfort of the Middle East traveller, she added. The Club Inter-Continental Lounge has been added to the hotel, offering more stunning views of the harbour and Hong Kong Island. The dŽcor and fabrics used in all rooms are inspired by the colours, crafts and motifs of modern Asia. An additional touch is a 24-hour butler service for all guest rooms. The hotel has five distinctive restaurants which offer exceptional gourmet experience complemented by the harbour view. The hotel is also ideal for conferences with its extensive meeting facilities. It provides spa and recreational facilities, including an outdoor pool which is one of Hong Kong's largest. "We ensure maximum satisfaction for our guests," adds Klein.
