THE ever-popular Travel Agents’ Day returned at this year’s ATM giving agents the opportunity to win an array of prizes including holidays, hotel stays and a laptop computer.
The event passport gave exhibitors the opportunity to direct visitors travel agents to their stands in order to find out the answer to questions contained in the passport.
For each stand attended agents received a passport stamp and at the end of Travel Agents’ Day, on Thursday, May 6, all completed passports were entered into a draw, compered by local personality David Crane, for the chance to win the fantastic prizes. Kim Thomson, TTN publishing director, said: “This was the first time TTN has been involved with Travel Agents’ Day and it proved a great success.
“The level of interest from both exhibitors and agents was really pleasing, we had some great prizes donated and people were going out of their way to make sure they got their passports stamped for the chance to win.
“As one of ATM’s media partners it was great for us to have the opportunity to support the exhibition in this way and we look forward to taking part again next year.”
