Qatar Airways debuts digital Doha

Qatar Airways has launched its first-ever digital destination, ‘QVerse Island’, in Fortnite, bringing Doha into one of the world’s most popular gaming platforms.

The immersive experience allows players to explore Hamad International Airport, iconic city landmarks and on-board elements, guided by Sama, the airline’s digital cabin crew. Through interactive, mission-based challenges, users can discover hidden golden tickets for a chance to unlock exclusive travel rewards and flights.

QVerse Island extends Qatar Airways’ digital ecosystem, connecting gaming, brand storytelling and immersive experiences to engage travellers before they plan their journeys. The launch complements the airline’s broader digital strategy, including the rollout of Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi across more than 120 aircraft. Together, these initiatives reinforce Qatar Airways’ focus on creating a connected, tech-driven travel experience that begins well before take-off.

Both programmes will run annually as a core pillar of the airline’s people development strategy, supporting its continued growth and transformation.
