THE Essque Hotels brand, which evolved from the Tiara Hotels & Resort, gears up as to open its first property on The Palm Jumeirah next year.
Speaking to TTN, Danny Haddad, CEO, Essque Hotels said, “Essque was created as we felt it was the right time to introduce a brand that will become a benchmark in luxury hospitality. We defined luxury to be time and this is what our brand is all about. The brand reflects a discreet and understated luxury that is more focused on giving time back to our guests.”
Essque are finalising plans to open on The Palm Jumeirah and their recently signed first management contract in Africa with Zalu Resort & Spa, Zanzibar, Tanzania, scheduled to open in 2010.
The resort is located on Zanzibar’s unspoilt tropical east coast, and features 40 ocean front suites and nine private villas, three specialty restaurants and a branded spa.
“Even as a Dubai based company, we don’t want to saturate our brand only in the Middle East. We are an international brand and we need to be in certain parts of the world today. Tourism is going to change in the coming years, with destinations being more affordable. And at the same time, we will continue to look at potential markets in Europe, Asia and Australia. We also hope to announce more properties in the Middle East in the near future,” said Haddad.
