WOMEN volunteers wanting to serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Dubai Mall can have their wages donated to charity.  As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Emaar Malls Group has introduced this Guest Services Volunteer Programme.
The community initiative is open to all non-working female residents in Dubai. Each volunteer is expected to contribute a minimum of three shifts of four hours each week to the programme. In return, the equivalent wages will be donated to a local charity.
The volunteers will support a guest services team of 200 plus staff  already on the ground and will be the social and informative hub for visitors to The Dubai Mall, acting as the first line for general enquiries.
Jim Badour, chief executive officer, Emaar Malls Group said, “We are looking for ladies who enjoy mixing with different nationalities and have a passion for shopping and socialising. With this initiative we hope to provide a platform for non-working females in Dubai to give back to the community while expanding their social networks.”
Advantages for the volunteers include being first in line for VIP tickets to high profile events and fashion shows scheduled to take place and shopping vouchers from the mall.
Interested parties can visit www.thedubaimall.com or call The Dubai Mall at 04-362 7500.
