Weal Soueid has been appointed director of rooms operations at the JW Marriott Hotel, Dubai, following five years of service at the hotel.
Wael joined the hotel in 1995 as guest relations manager and was quickly promoted to assistant front office manager and then to front office manger. Wael was born in Beirut, but moved to France at the age of 14. He studied for a BA degree in hotel management in Toulouse and began his hospitality career at the Paris de Gaulles Marriott in 1991, where he was a night auditor for three years.
