Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has signed an agreement with Sorouh Al Qurm Real Estate Company to develop an integrated tourism complex in Al Qurm, Wilayat Bausher in Muscat, with a total investment of RO230 million ($596 million), according to Oman News Agency.

The project will span 165,000 square metres and include two four-star hotels offering more than 400 rooms, along with recreational facilities such as an indoor games hall and trampoline areas.

The development will also feature commercial outlets and freehold residential units, creating a mixed-use tourism destination in Muscat.

The agreement was signed by Minister Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi and Eng. Khaled Khudair Mashaan, representing Sorouh Al Qurm Real Estate Company. The project will be developed in phases over 15 years.

Officials said the move aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Oman’s maritime and logistics sectors, while enhancing operational efficiency across port infrastructure.
