RJ ranked first in punctuality

Royal Jordanian Airlines secured the top global ranking for on time performance for July 2025, according to the latest report by OAG, a leading international aviation data analytics company.

The airline achieved an on-time performance rate of 95.21% for departures and arrivals during the month. This result reflects Royal Jordanian’s outstanding performance in the Middle East and globally, the airline said.

Oman Air's point-to-point success

Oman Air has achieved a landmark milestone with a near three-fold increase in point-to-point passengers – rising from 75,000 in June 2024 to 200,000 in June 2025 alone. Point-to-point traffic - passengers flying directly into Oman rather connecting onwards - now accounts for 58% of the airline’s total flight loads.

The achievement news marks a significant advancement in Oman Air’s strategy to drive inbound tourism into Oman and support national economic goals.

The airline’s most recent network expansions include Amsterdam, which opens direct access to the high-value Benelux market, and the re-introduction of double-daily flights on its popular London route, starting from October 2025.

Air Arabia posts $113m Q2 profit

Air Arabia reported a net profit of AED415 million ($112.99 million) during the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, 3 percent lower than the AED427 million ($116.26 million) in the same period in 2024.

The airline achieved a turnover of AED1.69 billion, a 2 percent increase compared to Q2 of last year. Over 5.1 million passengers travelled with Air Arabia Group, a 15 per cent increase. The airline’s average seat load factor rose by 6 percent, reaching 85 percent during Q2.

In the first half (H1) of 2025 (January to June), Air Arabia reported a net profit of AED770 million, an 11 percent increase from the AED693 million in H1 2024; turnover of AED3.44 billion, an 8 percent increase; passenger number of over 10.1 million, a 13 percent growth; and average seat load factor of 84 percent.

During H1, Air Arabia added two aircraft to its fleet bringing it to a total of 83 owned and leased Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

Flydubai gets 7 new aircraft

Flydubai has taken delivery of seven new aircraft so far in 2025, with a further five Boeing 737 MAX 8s scheduled to join its fleet before the end of the year. These additions are a part of the airline’s strategic growth plans, enabling the continued expansion of its network, enhancing operational efficiency and increasing capacity on existing routes.

With the seven new aircraft, flydubai fleet has grown to 93 aircraft. A total of 12 aircraft are scheduled for delivery this year.

flydubai also continues to expand its network and has added 11 new destinations this year.

Etihad for Business portal goes live

Etihad Airways has launched the Etihad for Business corporate portal, bringing the airline's comprehensive business travel programme fully online. Companies can now access their complete corporate travel management suite through a single digital platform.

The portal enables businesses to manage their travel programmes with enhanced tools, track performance data in real-time, and handle benefit redemptions with self-service capabilities. Corporate customers can now access contract details, monitor travel spend, and redeem Etihad for Business credits for a comprehensive suite of travel benefits.
