From old to new ... the Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways represented the country at ITB

Covering an area of 220 metres and neighboured by the Qatar Airways, the Qatar Tourism Authority’s (QTA) stand at ITB Berlin 2004 highlighted the country’s best.

Joined by a contingent of hospitality and tourism representatives from Qatar as well as representatives of the Qatar National Hotel Company (QNHC), the QTA stand received a large number of visitors among them leading tour operators and media representatives.
“Judging from the feedback we have been receiving from European tour operators, especially from partners such as DER Tours and Tischler Reisen, I am very optimistic that they will continue to sell Qatar as an attractive destination,” said Fred van Eijk, CEO, QTA.
Qatar Airways used the exhibition to announce a significant increase in the airline’s frequencies to Germany and other European destinations this year even as it prepares to start a new non-stop service to Zurich in July.
Those who announced the signing of new agreements included the QNHC, Gulf Adventures and the QIT.
