First Mideast nominee on spa body

The Middle East has got its first ever board-level representation on the International Spa Association (ISPA), the worldwide industry body committed to raising worldwide awareness of the spa leisure sector.

Daniella Russell, director of Spa Resources Middle East, the Gulf's only spa design, development and management consultancy and a division of Dubai's MKM Group, has been appointed to the Board of ISPA Europe, which has responsibility for this region.

"Daniella's appointment reflects the expansion of the spa sector throughout the Middle East," said IPSA-Europe President, Jonathan Stapleton. As director of Spa Resources Middle East, which was set up just 20 months ago, she is involved in spa development projects in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and throughout the Gulf.
