The 225-room Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers has opened for business, following a massive five-month, $10 million renovation.
Over the past five years, more than $20 million has been invested in the five-star property, said James Munro, area manager, Dubai and general manager at the hotel. The new-look hotel now features a limestone exterior and a landscaped front entrance with a spacious lower lobby. The lobby design has retained the soothing ambience delivered by the hotel's signature cascading waterfall, which has been enhanced with the addition of a glass pyramid fountain. Guest rooms and suites now have uninterrupted views across the Creek and of the city and the average room size is 42 square metres. The rooms and suites all have refreshed colour schemes, improved data-connectivity and the latest in electronic door lock systems.
