Babaoglu will steer Mövenpick plans

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed Alaeddin Babaoglu as its new vice-president development and a member of the management board.

Babaoglu will devise and promote the group's expansion plans in his new position, the Swiss-based hotel group said.

The 41-year-old German moved to the Swiss hotel group after working for 11 years at LTI International Hotels, based in Dusseldorf.

Of the Mövenpick hotel group, he said: "The Swiss hotel group mirrors the pinnacle of quality, but possesses enormous potential."
