YAS MARINA Circuit has announced the launch of its new ‘YasHUB’ smartphone and tablet app, which is available for free download from the Apple and Google Play Android stores. The application is a one-stop-guide for racegoers to the 2014 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, to be held from November 21 to 23 at the UAE capital’s Yas Marina Circuit.
The app aims to keep users updated with the latest news from drivers, teams and the circuit, while offering a personalised experience. Using the built-in ticket selector, racegoers can also tailor their own ticketing package from a wide range of available options, from choice of seating, food and beverages, and entertainment all the way through to Paddock or VIP access options, ensuring that each user buys the perfect ticket for them.Additionally, the Formula 1 Race Weekend feature in the app is a guide to everything that is happening on Yas Island during the race weekend in November: event schedules, competitions, autograph signing sessions, entertainment line-ups and much more. “YasHUB is a first for any F1 promoter,” says Nick McElwee, director of sales and marketing at Yas Marina Circuit.
