W DOHA Hotel & Residences invites guests to stay connected with its new and innovative 24/7 messaging service. The contemporary, design-led Qatar hotel is the first property in the Middle East to offer a complimentary interactive service via mobile and social media channels including WhatsApp, BlackBerry Messenger, Twitter and Instagram, allowing guests to explore, discover and plan a stay at any moment.

This initiative takes the W Hotels brand’s Whatever/Whenever service one step further by providing guests with instant communication through their chosen messaging mobile service. Whether using Whatsapp or Blackberry Messenger, ‘Stay Connected’ is designed to enhance and personalise guest experiences before they have even stepped inside the hotel, to on the button service throughout their stay.

From room reservations to hotel pick-ups, booking backstage tickets to a concert, ordering bespoke cupcakes or indulging in a relaxing spa treatment, the personalised service is available day and night. ‘Stay Connected’ ensures that at any moment guests ask the team for the simplest or most elaborate of requests before, during and after their stay.

The hotel also invites keen social media users to use ‘tweeps’ or ‘Instabook’, which are dedicated and customised booking systems on Twitter and Instagram respectively. Users can connect with the hotel’s E-Insider through the hotel’s Twitter or Instagram profile, @wdoha, and use the hashtag #bookwdoha to make a hotel reservation.
