roomsXML launches mobile interface

Known for introducing innovative ideas, roomsXML has now introduced another first in the category. A dedicated interface for smartphones that gives access to travel agents to book hotels in real time and at
 net rates.

'Everybody thinks of travellers who are on the go. There are zillions of applications for them,' says Prakash Bang, managing director. 'But what about their travel agents? Why shouldn’t there be a facility that makes life a little easier for the travel agent? The idea has delighted travel agents in the Middle East and I am sure the response will be equally good in other markets too.'

Apart from introducing many firsts in the industry, roomsXML has also been awarded the coveted ISO 9001:2008. The ISO certification recognises roomsXML’s quality management systems. The certification was done by BM TRADA, world’s leading quality certification body based in UK. roomsXML is the first company in the world to get the certification in the category it represents.
