BIN MAJID Hotels & Resorts of the UAE is to participate in this month’s World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

A team from the group will be attending the exhibition and promoting its two properties in Abu Dhabi – Nehal and the soon-to-open ‘The Tower’ – as well as its four hotels in Ras Al Khaimah including the Beach Hotel, Beach Resort, Acacia, and the Mangrove.

The team will also promote the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah as a tourist destination of choice to both UK and international travel professionals.

The team will seek to create new ties with potential partners who will support the group’s growing business and the tourism industry as a whole. They will also acquire market intelligence and hear the latest industry trends and forecasts that will enhance their marketing strategy in their effort to attract a bigger share of the UK market.

Mahmoud Saffarini, director of sales and marketing, Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts, says: “It is a must for Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts to attend WTM because the event presents a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and travel professionals. The UAE’s travel and tourism is picking up and opportunities are on the rise so we need to be here to take advantage of the momentum and promote our products to our key markets. This year we ventured into a new market with the opening of the Abu Dhabi properties so we want to promote and create awareness of these properties to get more tourists visit and stay at the new properties.”

Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts has two new properties in Abu Dhabi, a new market for the group and the first market it has established operations outside of Ras Al Khaimah.

Nehal, a 134-room and suites hotel located in the heart of the capital, opened in April this year and is already recording promising performance.

Another property, The Tower, a deluxe hotel apartments comprising of 230 apartments, will soon open to the public.

The team will also meet with existing partners to share updates on the upcoming Santorini project in Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, which is expected to open in mid-2014.

The Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts stand will be located at ME 450.
