Six Continents Hotels has appointed Angelika Kanduth as manager of the Customer Service Centre of the company's new Middle East Central Reservations office in Dubai.
Austrian-born Kanduth began her career in the hospitality industry with the Sheraton Frankfurt Hotel in Germany where she initially worked in reservations. She arrived in the Middle East in 1997 when transferring to the Sheraton Gulf Hotel in Doha, Qatar as a member of the sales team, before being appointed as Reservations Manager at the Sheraton Deira Hotel in Dubai shortly thereafter. Kanduth then joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts in 1999, where she continued to develop her career that became increasingly focused on customer service and reservations. She joined Six Continents Hotels in February 2002 as manager of the Customer Service Centre, Middle East and Africa, Worldwide Reservations.
