Ramada Downtown Dubai to boost brand awareness

RAMADA Downtown Dubai, located in Dubai’s most prestigious and vibrant district, will attend the World Travel Market (WTM) 2012 to strengthen brand awareness and establish the property as the preferred hotel destination in downtown area with its excellent location and competitive rates.

The Ramada Downtown delegation, lead by its general manager, Wael El Behi, will be present as trade visitors and will be part of the exhibition stand of Wyndham and Ramada Hotel Group. Every year, the property sends delegation to the must-attend four-day business-to-business event presenting a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and International travel professionals.

El Behi commented: “We expect some fruitful results this year. Interaction with the international market on a single platform like WTM always helps us maximise our visibility and eventually establish contacts, which leads to favourable business. Our hotel’s excellent location, with proximity to Dubai’s iconic landmarks including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai Fountain and the business hubs, will be our key selling point.”

This year, the UK market currently stands fourth in the property’s top nationality mix and Ramada Downtown looks forward to a healthier European mix in the months following the World Travel Market. El Behi said, “Travellers from the UK choose the downtown area because of its convenient location. Thus, we want to ensure maximum customer satisfaction to generate continuous business with the top travel agents based in UK and increase the flow of travellers.”

In addition to UK market, Ramada Downtown Dubai aims to attract niche markets including leisure travellers from Germany, France, Italy and Eastern Europe.
