
THE InterContinental Hotel Jordan launched its new Premium Wing, after a recent investment of JD17 million ($23.9 million) as part of the hotel’s renovation programme. More than half of the 172 rooms in the newly renovated premium wing are dedicated club rooms. Each room emits an understated, contemporary design and state-of-the-art functionalities including an interactive 42-inch LCD screen, wireless internet, multipurpose power sockets, walk in showers with a rain-shower feature, or the modern bathtubs.
The Premium Wing has over 25 suites, including a Royal, Presidential, Diplomatic or Executive suites, each fitted with ultra modern furniture and décor designed by Harry Gregory, one of London’s leading interior designers. Suites in the Premium Wing boast artwork and designs from across Europe, with conveniences such as his and her hand wash basins and a minimum of two interactive LCD TVs. Well suited for families, each suite comes with a fully equipped kitchenette and the option to be connected to adjacent premium rooms.
Business travellers at the hotel will also have access to the hotel’s Club Lounge. After renovations, the InterContinental Jordan will be home to the largest Club Lounge in the InterContinental family. With special dining areas for breakfast and cocktails, a reading library, three LCD televisions, and a listening area, clients are assured of ease and comfort, whether doing business or looking for a quiet corner. A conference room with built in screen and ceiling drop down LCD projector is also available for clients who need to have that last minute business meeting. For the office experience on the road, four fully equipped workstations are available to keep clients connected.
