BAHRAIN-headquartered Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME) hosted a region-wide Innovation Product Road Show, showcasing new and upcoming solutions for its customers. The road show was run across several months and most recently visited Cairo, Egypt, where customers learned how Sabre’s new and existing product range can be used to drive revenues, reduce costs and improve customer service. Attendees also got a preview of upcoming products and enhancements due out later this year including Sabre Red Graphical View. Along with this there were many interactive sessions such as quizzes, games and group discussions. Daniel Naoumovitch, CEO, STNME said: 'Egypt is one of our key markets in the region and the road show is a reinforcement of our commitment to our customers updating and educating them on our solutions, helping enhance their business growth. We are partway through a very successful Sabre Red Workspace implementation and these road shows help agencies take full advantage of all the new capabilities and features.' Highlights of the event included presentations on Sabre Profiles and Sabre Red Workspace. Sabre Profiles is a new customer-centric profile solution which significantly enhances each subscriber’s ability to manage and use traveller, corporation, supplier and agency information. By streamlining the process of creating and managing business critical information and making data available at all transaction touch points, the solution aims to be the ultimate profile management tool for all customers including agency administrators, agents and other travel arrangers. And Sabre Red Workspace has simplified shopping and booking with enhanced graphical capabilities. Agents now have the ability to book air, car and hotel using a fully-graphical, keyboard-driven workflow saving time and keystrokes. More than 500 customers across the Middle East are now using the workspace, with Sabre’s remaining agency customers expected to upgrade by the end of 2011.
