The centrally located office, in the prestigious Kafr Abdou area, is equipped with modern facilities to support the agency community and the company’s growth in the region. This is Sabre’s second office in the country after its Cairo headquarters, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to the Egyptian travel and tourism industry.
The new office was opened by STNME CEO, Daniel Naoumovitch, accompanied by Nematalla Salem, country manager – Egypt, STNME, senior members of Alexandria’s travel industry and senior representatives from Egypt’s Sabre organisation.
The facility includes a modern training room that will be used to educate travel agents on how to use the Sabre Red Workspace, a travel agency platform for agents to shop, book and ticket travel. ‘‘The Egyptian travel and tourism market is a resilient one and we expect the industry to continue its growth in the coming months,” said a delighted Naoumovitch.
“Sabre is an acknowledged leader in the Egyptian travel industry and with our expansion into Alexandria we hope to cement our leading position here as well and further expand into the delta area.”
Sabre has also recently opened an office in Kuwait in line with its regional expansion plans and emphasising the importance of the Kuwaiti travel and tourism market to Sabre’s strategic plans for the GCC.
Providing ample space for Sabre’s workshops and agent training, the office is equipped with a training room that can accommodate up to 20 agents.
