LOUIS Hotels, in line with its commitment to continuously upgrade its services, has announced a number of important refurbishments and renovations at selected hotels across Greece and Cyprus and summer 2011 will see Louis Hotels welcoming guests with a new face.
This winter the Louis Phaethon Beach, in Pafos, Cyprus, will be closed for a renovation of all guests rooms with wooden floors replacing carpets and new soft fittings throughout.
The existing pool will get an update, a Jacuzzi will be added and a waterpark will be created with six water slides.
Also in Pafos, at Ledra Beach 192 of the hotel’s rooms underwent redecoration earlier this year with the addition of six specially designed honeymoon rooms, now during the winter a second phase of works will take place to renovate the remaining 78 rooms, the corridors and the main restaurant.
In Greece Kerkyra Golf in Corfu will be further upgraded with the renovation of all its rooms this coming winter. And the classic and chic Grand Hotel, built on Corfu’s finest beach, is to get a comprehensive upgrade prior to joining LTI Hotels next summer and being branded as the LTI Grand Hotel.
Improvements at the Grand will include installation of wooden floors, new stylish furniture, curtains and upholstery plus lighting and TV sets.
The restaurant and lobby area will also be refitted and a new Asian restaurant will be created.
With December 31, 2010, seeing the end of the company’s franchise agreement with Iberostar Hotels and Resorts, the Louis Hotels Ledra Beach, Kerkyra Golf and Regency Beach on the island of Corfu and Plagos Beach in Zante will no longer be branded by Iberostar. They will once again be branded Louis, a name with a 75 year history in tourism and more than 65 years of experience in the hotel industry.
