It is designed to allow expansion and inclusion of additional facilities to integrate with those existing and whether for international or local, hundreds of attendees or a thousand guests, the property can cater to meetings and conventions across the board, including simultaneously.
The centre is well equipped from telecommunications and technical requirements, lighting, professional secretaries and interpretation facilities, valet parking and so much more all within easy walking distance from the adjacent Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa which is currently under development scheduled to open in 2013.
Now that the centre has come under Hilton management, several changes are occurring. For example, staff are being trained and familiarsied with Hilton standards, services and facilities will be upgraded to reflect the Hilton brand and, most importantly, guests will be able to benefit from Hilton services and offers at Hilton brands worldwide.
General manager Naif Zureikat has more than 30 years’ experience in the hotel industry and has been with the centre since its opening. He said: “As the expansion of the centre includes a 285-room Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, we will be able to attract larger international conferences.
“We believe that becoming part of the Hilton family will position the centre in a better place to attract international markets through the Hilton networks around the world and to promote the Dead Sea and Jordan as a destination.”
