BEIRUT’S much-loved Riviera Hotel is undergoing a full renovation which promises to deliver an even better guest experience.
The facelift of the rooms and corridors, which started in August, will be carried out on a floor-by-floor basis so the hotel will not be closed down and completion is expected to be by the beginning of summer 2011.
The refurbishment aims to upgrade the hotel’s position in the fast developing Lebanese capital and bring the guest rooms in line with the recently completed major upgrading of the beach area.
The propery will be exhibiting on the Lebanon Ministry of Tourism stand at World Travel Market 2010 (WTM) and director of sales and marketing Rita Aprat Faddoul said: “This coming period, we will mainly focus on new emerging markets to Lebanon such as Germany, England, Turkey and Cyprus. A lot of sales trips and personalised visits are planned and, with the renovation, a full media plan will be set.
“WTM is a must-attend event and we will be there conveying the message of renovation of the hotel and showing our new rooms and vision.
“The location and the service make Riviera Hotel and Beach Lounge the place to be. And now, with the renovation, we will see a great impact.
“The facelift is transforming our wide range of luxurious rooms with a more stylish and modern feel all the while maintaining the renowned luxurious and historic feel of the hotel.
“The Riviera always delivers the highest standards of accommodation and service and we aim to be masters of hospitality and courteousness.”
