Travel technology provider dcs plus has launched ARIA, an AI-native workspace designed to help travel agencies manage customer requests by combining human expertise with artificial intelligence (AI) agents in a single operating environment.
The platform aims to streamline agency operations by
consolidating customer communications, automating routine tasks and reducing
the need to switch between disconnected systems. Requests received through
email, WhatsApp Business and other channels are brought into one workspace,
where AI prioritises cases, identifies key details and routes them to the
appropriate human or AI agent.
At the centre of ARIA is an AI Agents Hub, a collection of
specialised agents that agencies can activate according to their operational
requirements. The first available tool, the Offers AI Agent, searches agency
inventory and produces ranked flight and hotel options as ready-to-send
proposals within minutes.
ARIA operates as a layer across the dcs plus technology
ecosystem, which includes TINA for mid- and back-office operations, IRIX for
booking and distribution, NOVA for corporate self-booking, TRIP for online
consumer sales and AIDA for inventory management. The platform integrates
existing systems rather than replacing them, connecting activities from initial
customer enquiries through to back-office processes.
Agencies retain control over AI deployment, deciding whether
agents draft responses or resolve routine requests independently. Human
intervention pauses AI activity, while outgoing communications remain subject
to agency-defined rules.
According to dcs plus, agencies using ARIA can achieve more
than 50% operational efficiency growth by reducing manual sorting, data entry
and quotation preparation. The company said the platform is intended to free
consultants to focus on complex itineraries and customer relationships rather
than repetitive administrative work.
Cristian Dinca, founder and CEO of dcs plus, said: “AI is
reshaping how companies run their business, and travel is no exception.
Agencies that embrace it now will set the pace for the industry, while those
that wait will find it harder to keep up. That is why ARIA is one of the most
important launches in our history. Travel remains a human business, and a good
consultant’s judgment is not something software replaces. What changes is
everything around it: one place for every request, and AI agents that take on
the repetitive work so people focus on travelers. ARIA is built as a hub of AI
agents, so every agency can activate the ones that fit its operation and add
more over time,”
Asheque Shams, CEO of Abingdon Software Group, added: “ARIA
reflects what we look for across Abingdon Software Group: companies that know
their industry deeply and use AI to solve real operational problems for their
customers. dcs plus brings deep travel expertise, and ARIA turns it into a new
way of running an agency. We are proud to support the team as they bring it to
agencies around the world,”
The launch marks a further step in dcs plus’s AI strategy, positioning ARIA as a central workspace for agencies seeking to integrate automation into daily operations while maintaining human oversight and customer service. -TradeArabia News Service
