UAE-based travel management company DW Travel has announced a strategic technology partnership with TravelSwitch to develop and deploy a new generation of digital booking platforms.
The partnership will deliver three core solutions: a
business-to-consumer (B2C) booking platform, a dedicated business-to-business
(B2B) platform and an integrated workspace for DW Travel’s consultants.
The connected technology ecosystem is designed to simplify
bookings, expand access to travel products and content, increase automation and
improve experiences for customers, partners and employees.
Founded in Dubai in 2004, DW Travel provides corporate,
leisure, VIP and luxury travel, meetings and events, visa and specialist travel
services.
The investment forms part of the company’s wider digital
transformation strategy and plans for scalable growth.
“A key objective of the partnership is to bring DW Travel’s
digital platforms into a more unified ecosystem,” said Bader Ahli, Director, DW
Travel. “The B2C platform will support the company’s growing leisure business
and direct-to-consumer offering, while the B2B platform will provide partners
with direct access to DW Travel’s travel products and services. For DW Travel,
the investment reflects a broader philosophy that technology should enhance
rather than replace the role of travel professionals. The company has
consistently positioned personalised service and human expertise alongside
technology as central to its customer proposition.”
Mohit Sharma, CCO, TravelSwitch, commented: “We’re delighted
to partner with the DW Travel team. Their ambition to innovate and deliver
better travel experiences is clear and we’re excited to support that vision.
We’re bringing years of travel product expertise, our latest technology and AI
capabilities to power DW Travel’s next-generation B2C, B2B and agency
workspace.” -TradeArabia News Service
