Dubai-based Emirates said with the limited re‑opening of airspace, the airline is operating a reduced flight schedule from Dubai until further notice.
Flights to some key destinations are currently operating. Customers can check availability and book for the flights. Accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority, the airline said.Customers transiting in Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their connecting flight is operating. It urged passengers not to go to the airport unless they held a confirmed booking for these flights."Emirates continues to monitor the situation, and we will develop our operational schedule accordingly," it said.The latest flight updates will be published on the airline's website, it added.Meanwhile, Flydubai has resumed operations across its network with a reduced schedule.
In a statement today, flydubai spokesperson said: "We are continuously updating our schedule and adding more flights as airspace restrictions are lifted."We continue to monitor the situation closely. Flight durations may be longer than usual due to the temporary rerouting of some flight paths. The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority."flydubai has advised customers not to travel to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking or official confirmation of a rebooked flight.
