Destination Britain & Ireland (DEBI) is a travel trade show which brings British and Irish tourism suppliers together with tourism buyers from the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.
It offers a forum for the British tourism suppliers to showcase their products and negotiate business deals.
Destination Britain & Ireland moves around the region and this year will be hosted in Dubai from May 10 to 13, 2010. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
“This year we have more than 80 buyers participating at DEBI 2010. Our aim is to get more British products into the market. The GCC has traditionally been very London-focussed and we want to change that. This is an opportunity for all the regional tourist boards to showcase their regions and get the buyers to partner up,” said Carol Madison manager for VisitBritain, UAE. More than 67 UK partners are expected to participate at DEBI 2010.
