Malta is becoming a Mice favourite

Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), will be joined by Air Malta, nine hotels, 13 DMCs, a conference centre and one leisure cruising company exhibiting at the show this year.

The 26 co-exhibitors will be meeting clients and decision-makers and presenting Malta’s offer for conference and incentive groups at the 140-sq-m stand the country is hosting at Imex.

The MTA will also be launching the second edition of the Malta Mice Directory, entitled Meet in Malta, at its stand.

The publication is produced by Impact Public Relations and was first issued in 2008.

This second edition, has been updated with technical information about various local meetings industry providers including hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), venues and other specialised operators in the field.

Impact Public Relations is also responsible for the Malta Mice supplements, produced in Italian, French and German. The latter, was recently launched at the Malta stand at ITB in Berlin.

These publications, together with the Mice Directory, are aimed at raising the profile of the Maltese islands as a destination for conference and incentive groups, while also providing decision-makers with detailed information about the islands’ offer.

So as to offer potential clients a direct experience of Malta’s attractions, guests visiting the stand will be in for a chance of winning an attractive weekend trip to Malta for two.
