Jazeera Airways, the fastest growing airline in the Middle East, has selected Mondial Assistance and its specially chosen partners to supply travel insurance and assistance solutions to its guests.
This is a significant win for Mondial Assistance, as it builds on its success with a growing portfolio of major airlines in this key market.
Under the new agreement, Jazeera Airways guests will benefit from travel insurance, including medical and cancellation cover. As one of the leading regional carriers in the Middle East, Jazeera Airways has been growing quickly since its launch in 2005 and this contract will allow guests to purchase quality travel insurance, as an added benefit, while boosting ancillary revenue.
“We are excited to be working with Mondial Assistance, as a global leader in travel insurance and medical assistance,” said Stefan Pichler, CEO of Jazeera Airways. “As Jazeera continues to grow we are securing new partnerships that will support our future development. Through this agreement with Mondial, our guests will have access to integrated travel insurance when they purchase flights, enhancing the Jazeera Airways guest experience, while introducing a new revenue stream for the business.”
Mike Webb, region director for Mondial Assistance EMEA, added: “This new contract is further illustration of our ongoing success in the Middle East. Jazeera Airways joins a growing portfolio of major Middle East airlines choosing Mondial Assistance to boost ancillary revenue opportunities and enhance their customer offering.
“We are providing integrated travel insurance to Jazeera Airways guests with no age limit, as a comprehensive white-label offering. This is bringing a new low-cost, high-quality insurance product that meets the needs of travellers in the region, while helping Jazeera to expand its offering to support its overall growth strategy.”
