Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa in Dubai, UAE, celebrated five successful years of operation in January with a commitment to invest Dh4 million ($1 million) in product improvement and enhancement to retain its leading position in the market.
Phase one of this investment has been completed and all 173 rooms and suites now feature 32-inch LCD screen televisions. This will be further enhanced with an IPTV system.
It is five years since the award-winning hotel opened its doors to businessmen and tourists looking for a place to stay which offers them a feel of old Arabia and helps increases their knowledge about the heritage and culture of the region. During this time the hotel has become a favorite due to its superior location and exceptional customer service at affordable prices.
Habib Khan, general manager of the hotel and CEO of the hospitality division of Planet Group, the parent company of Arabian Courtyard, said: “Our commitment to customer care, employee development, community involvement and investment in products has been the key of our success over the years. We plan to continue with our investment with an IPTV system to be installed in the next few months and by opening an additional restaurant for our clients, work for which is already ongoing.
“This restaurant, due to open in May and called Sarpino’s Pizzeria, is part of an international chain from Canada that has shown confidence in our abilities by awarding us the master franchise of its brand.”
Habib concluded the property maintained its strong growth in the market due to the steady number of repeat guests last year and favourable occupancy rates even though the market remained sluggish. This year, once again, seems promising as the hotel has launched special rates for the summer.
