World Green Tourism Abu Dhabi, a conference with a supporting exhibition presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), will be a forum for industry leaders from around the world to discuss the environmental challenges facing the tourism industry and highlight ‘green’ initiatives, technologies and solutions currently being integrated into mainstream industry practices.

To be held from December 6 to 8 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the three-day event is being organised by the UAE’s Streamline Marketing Group with ADTA as headline sponsor and Al Ain Wildlife Park Resort (AWPR) as gold sponsor.

The ADTA is spearheading a major campaign to deliver substantial, sector-wide energy, water and waste reduction. To assist businesses comply it has held a series of workshops across the emirate.

The event will comprise a three-day power conference supported by an exhibition bringing together regional and international tourism authorities, urban city planners, hotels and resorts, property developers, airlines, key associations, tour operators, green products suppliers, museums and heritage sites organisations and universities involved in sustainable tourism.

Visitors to Arabian Travel Market can find out more about World Green Tourism presented by ADTA by visiting the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority stand.

“World Green Tourism Abu Dhabi brings together destinations, suppliers, advocates, and global leaders into one forum. We think the conference  is a great opportunity to build strong relationships within this network,” said Dr Frederic Launay, CEO of AWPR.
