Far from being a one hit wonder, the Bahrain Boat Show International 2010 was even better than last year playing host to several super yachts including Shadow Marine’s 65-m Allure Shadow.
The Allure Shadow is unique in that it redefines the expectations of a luxurious sport utility vessel either shadowing the conventional super craft with its complement of ‘big boys’ toys’ such as a submarine, jet skis and a helicopter landing pad, or it can be hired by itself for cruising or corporate events.
Also on show was the BD47.5m Ellix Too super yacht built by International Shipyards Ancona complete with dedicated media room, Jacuzzi and sundeck.
The show featured a number of unique marine exhibits including Pearl Watercrafts’ Jetlev-Flyer, the recreational jetpack almost anyone can enjoy over water.
The flyer is designed so users can literally fly over deep water with the assurance that it is one of the safest power-sports ever invented.
Polaris Motor also attended exhibiting its flying inflatable boat which travels across the water then literally takes off and flies!
And Art Marine was the largest exhibitor at the event.
An eclectic mix of entertainment was organised to cater to all tastes ranging from Bahrain Riders Club who showed off a special bike exhibit and Koheeji Group which ran a daily Jet Ski stunt show.
The show was organised by Knotika and took place at Bahrain’s Amwaj Marina over five days attracting record numbers of visitors.
Wael Juju, CEO of Bahrain Boat Show International 2010, said: “This year’s Bahrain Boat Show International was a tremendous achievement, we want to thank everyone for making it possible from the exhibitors, to the visitors, our sponsors and partners without whom none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank my team members who have worked tirelessly for the last few months to ensure the success of the show.
“We believe the Bahrain Boat Show will continue to play a key role in developing the nation’s marine and leisure industry and promise to be back next year with an even bigger and better show.”
