The Lost Paradise of Dilmun, Bahrain’s famed water theme park, is re-opening early this year on March 4.

During the opening weekend there will not only be rides, slides and waves, but live music and competitions as well and when guests need to take a break from the fun-filled action, there are loads of shady spots to catch your breath or relax with a cool drink or ice cream.

Dive-in movies return after the huge success of last year, this season running on Friday and Saturday nights from May 1 and the ever popular Ladies Nights will begin again in May, running every Thursday from 6pm to midnight with live female DJs and all female staff allowing traditional ladies to enjoy the wild water experience at the same time as preserving their modesty.

There will also be live DJs every weekend.

This season, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun is offering repeat guests the opportunity to purchase an annual Splashdown Pass at just BD75 ($198) per person. All pass holders have access to the park for a whole calendar year from the date of purchase and can enjoy added benefits and discounts.

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun offers something to keep everyone entertained from the  Family Raft Ride, the park’s tallest attraction, which brings the whole family together as four people of all ages can enjoy speeding and spinning down the chute before splash-landing in the pool below and Kids’ Mesopomania with different levels to explore the Kids’ Rain Fortress will keep youngsters entertained for hours with slides, water curtains, and the large bucket which empties regularly to squeals of delight.

Families can also enjoy relaxing in the spa or Oasis Pool, playing in the waves in the region’s biggest wave pool or gliding along the Paradise River.

And for daredevils Falcons’ Dive is the place to head for. With a choice of four different heart-pumping rides there is never a dull moment.

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun, at Sakhir, will be open daily from 11am to 6pm in March and April, closing on Tuesdays only with the exception of school and public holidays.
