Unique Choice, one of the region’s leading wholesale tour operators has been honoured with the Best Foreign Tour Operator Award (premier) for West Asia/ Africa from The Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia.
The Malaysia Tourism Award is the highest accolade for individuals and organisations whose outstanding contributions play a significant role in the success of Malaysia’s tourism industry and it is a remarkable achievement for Unique Choice which was founded in 1994 and has its headquarters in Riyadh.
The Ministry of Tourism in Malaysia conducted the award ceremony at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre at the beginning of January and the event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Hj Mohd Yassin, who represented the country’s prime minister.
Dato’ Sri Ng Yen Yen, the Minister of Tourism Malaysia, paid tribute to the winners and finalists for their product and service excellence. He also praised the industry players who have shown originality and creativity in their mission to develop the tourism industry’s vision.
The event was a tremendous success with 800 guests representing the travel and tourism industry and Unique Choice was one among the 39 award winners from 12 categories.
