AN outdoor adventure and sporting event that promotes Middle Eastern adventure activities along with the latest sports gear will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from November 19 to 21.
Outdoor Adventure Dubai 2009, to be held at Dubai Festival City, will include representatives from the UAE and international major sporting events, adventure travel operators and sporting associations. Outdoor equipment manufacturers, all terrain vehicle producers and sports experts, including skateboarding, scuba diving and sea fishing, will all be on hand to advise visitors.
"Outdoor Adventure Dubai 2009 is the only complete sporting event of its kind to be held in the UAE," said Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre. "The event will offer families, sports lovers, and outdoor adventurers an all-in-one show covering the best in class products and services in the market today."
An estimated 10,000 public visitors are expected to try out the newest sports equipment and even test drive the latest 4X4 SUVs on a specially designed course. The exhibition is supported by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, to further position the UAE as a leading global destination for adventure tourism.
