ARMANI Hotel Dubai, the first hotel to be opened under the Armani Hotels & Resorts portfolio – a partnership between Emaar Properties and Giorgio Armani – has started its global recruitment drive to hire 600 hospitality professionals ahead of the hotel opening later this year.
The new hotel is located from concourse to level 8 and levels 38 and 39 in the Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, which is being developed by Emaar Properties within its flagship mega-project, Downtown Burj Dubai. The new hotel will include 160 guest rooms and suites, restaurants and a spa, covering more than 40,000 sq m. Alongside the hotel, Burj Dubai will offer 144 luxury residential apartments all designed by Giorgio Armani and fully furnished with a specially designed line of products from the Armani/Casa home furnishings collection.
The opening of the hotel this year will be followed by the launches of the Armani Hotel Milano in Milan, with a first Armani Resort planned for Marrakech and the first Armani Residences villas for Marassi in Egypt.
Marc Dardenne, chief executive officer, Emaar Hotels & Resorts and Emaar Hospitality Group said, "The Armani Hotel Dubai is an unparalleled hotel development marked by its exclusive location within the world’s tallest building and the brand association with Giorgio Armani. The hotel offers one of the most exciting and extremely rewarding job opportunities for hospitality professionals."
"The recruitment drive is also a reiteration of Armani Hotels & Resorts to create new job opportunities during the current economic climate," he added, and encouraged potential staff to log on to the website and register (www.armanihotels.com)
The management of Armani Hotel Dubai expects the recruitment drive to cover 16 countries to ensure that the hotel is serviced by a cosmopolitan team. To suit all tastes, dining options will feature a selection of cuisines - from Japanese to Indian, Mediterranean and authentic Italian.
The hotel also has 30,000 sq ft of conference and banqueting facilities plus a ballroom, pavilion, and a spacious outdoor area for up to 350 guests.
