LAST month Jazeera Airways inaugurated a new, dedicated Jazeera Airways sales office at the House of Travel in Manama, Bahrain.
Jazeera, which currently operates four non-stop routes out of Bahrain to Kuwait, Dubai and Doha, selected House of Travel as its local Bahrain sales partner, based on the company’s experience and expertise in retail and corporate travel and destination management, as well as its ability to promote the airline’s services out of the central Manama office location, according to an airline statement.
Steven Greenway CCO of Jazeera Airways said, “Bahrain is a very important market for our airline and is one of our most promising growth markets. As we move forward to develop our operations and grow our market presence within the country, we need a proficient partner that can help us build our business successfully across the Kingdom. Our appointment of House of Travel will enable us to deliver an even better service now to new and existing Bahrain passengers, while giving them even more freedom and flexibility to fly.”
Last month the airline launched non-stop flights between Kuwait and Marsa Alam, the gateway to the Red Sea resort of Port Ghalib. The launch of the new destination comes as part of Jazeera’s recent network expansion, which has welcomed an additional five destinations this summer to some of the region’s most desirable holiday spots including Iran’s beautiful city of gardens, Shiraz; the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo; the Mediterranean resort of Larnaca in Cyprus and the historic hilltop resort of Antalya, Turkey.
Jazeera Airways, established in 2004 and the first private scheduled airline in the Middle East, currently operates eight new Airbus A320s to 28 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran and the Indian subcontinent. Each aircraft is fitted with leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus cabin offers business travellers the high standards of comfort and a range of in-flight amenities.
